Into White? There’s a G1 For You!

During the start of Thanksgiving week (last week), T-Mobile released their white version of the G1. This white G1 adds to collection of G1′s already in a stealth black and bronze color.

In some sense, this is great competition for the G1′s arch-rival, the Apple iPhone as their line of smartphones and products are well-known for their white appearance. This statement can be translated to be that “white is in” as black has been a favorite for trending gadgets for the past few years.

What are your thoughts on the emerging white look to the G1?

I have the white one and my only complaint is that it’s not all white. Only the cover. The back is the same color as the keyboard shown in the pic :(

G1girlie, is yours from tmobile us? As I got the white one yesterday from tmobile uk and the back of mine is the same gloss white as the front…

The back isn’t white because the heat that the phone gives off would turn the white into yellow.
